We also specialise in a variety of non motorised watercraft including; stand up paddle boards, hobie boards, pedal boats, kayaks and canoes, all are perfect for taking a relaxed trip around our waterways or for some family fun and exercise.

We are primarily based within the Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park but open to the public.

We operate from September to April each year on weekends, most public holidays and school holidays or other times by appointment.

In 1995 the first steps were taken to regenerate the Tahbilk Eco trail area. Additional understory vegetation was planted to provide habitat necessary to attract greater numbers of native birds and animals. Prior to opening in 2005, these efforts were complemented by nature walking paths, timber boardwalks, docking points for the Eco Trails boats and two bird hides. An ongoing works program continues to maintain and enhance the area as an important conservation area.

The Avenel Maze is themed around the Australian legend Ned Kelly, the bushranger who commanded this region gaining mythical status, we not only pay tribute to an iconic legend, but educate and generate intrigue through a quiz with plenty of interesting facts, delivering a relaxing, interactive educational journey into the life of Ned Kelly.

When Skydive Nagambie was first opened by Australian Champion Don Cross seventeen years ago, he had only one goal in mind. To bring the excitement and thrill of the best skydive in Melbourne to as many people as he could. He lives that dream today having created Victoria’s largest skydiving centre, giving everyone great deals and prices. It is exciting, thrilling and scary, but above all it is fun!

Near Heathcote, an hour south of Echuca, is Mt Ida, now part of the Heathcote-Graytown National Park. It is a good idea to obtain maps of this area and to plan a circuit taking in the former Mt Ida Flora Reserve and the Dargile Ironbark Forest to the east (both of which have been incorporated into the new National Park). The picnic ground in the Killawarra Forest is worth incorporating into the walk. The vegetation around the picnic ground features Ironbarks and some plants introduced from outside the area. By contrast, the area to the west is Box Forest.

Wine, dine and trace the heritage behind Black Caviar in Victoria’s premier thoroughbred breeding district with the Black Caviar Trail.

Experience art and culture and soak up the history and heritage of the region. Partake in the great local produce and some of the best wines you can find. Have fun with the family, get active in the beautiful outdoors, or indulge in a little retail therapy.
