Nagambie Historical Society Inc operates an extensive museum at 344 High Street. The whole site is taken up with buildings housing different displays. The 1870s main museum building once housed the post and telegraph office, then the offices of the Goulburn Shire and the courthouse. The Society has a strong collection of early photographs, local and family histories and early maps. Exhibits include horse-drawn vehicles and restored early agricultural equipment built in the town, our own Stawell Gift winners and many trophies for local sporting achievements.
