Bourne Racing stables in located in Seymour of Central Victoria and is in the unique position of being the only trainer with direct access to the excellent training facilities at the Seymour racecourse, whose 6-million-dollar overhaul is due for reveal in November 2016.

Seymour is located in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley which is in the heart of Victorian thoroughbred breeding industry. Its central location is ideal for access to country and metropolitan racecourses throughout Victoria.

Some of the many advantages of having direct access to the Seymour Racing Club are use of its swimming facilities and 3 training tracks including a synthetic galloping track. Butch’s own property is equipped with modern facilities including a horse walker, spacious boxes and acres of paddocks.

David “Butch” Bourne has been training winners for over 30 years. Having first obtained his trainers licence in 1984, Butch established his current stables in Seymour, Victoria in 1989.
