The Rabbit Hole Inn

A one-of-a-kind heritage venue located in Avenel, regional Victoria. Built circa 1870, the building has a rich and varied history, and has now been lovingly transformed into a restaurant, boutique hotel, vibrant garden and events venue.

The ever-changing menus by Chef-Proprietor David Bellamy feature French and Italian modern fare created with local, homegrown, and seasonal produce, accompanied by a bespoke drinks list with produce from local award-winning wineries and distilleries.

Oozing French country side charm and a hint of old-world boheme, it’s the perfect place to wine, dine and party.

Our boutique rooms are designed to celebrate their individual heritage features. Each beautifully appointed suite has heating and cooling and it’s own bathroom equipped with a shower, vanity and toilet.
